Sam was cool.

I met Sam at Penn State 50 years ago listening to Pink Floyd. We spent a lot of time together. He was funny and well liked. He was also quirky. He loved fishing but didn’t care whether he caught anything. He loved tractors but didn’t farm. He had more cool stuff than anybody I knew. He loved the country and the simple way of life. He was very smart and could’ve done anything he wanted. And steady chose to stay in Union City. He was a devoted son and brother. We will all miss him.
