She was an IU 6 substitute teacher’s aide for the Franklin Area School District. She also worked at DeBence Antique Music World in Franklin. My deepest sympathies to the family for the passing of Barb. She was a lovely person to have as a mom of some of my students. She was so active in her kids’ lives, a willing help whenever needed by me and others. She will be missed, but you will see her again. God Bless you all.
Mr Irons, Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful kind loving person.
May God carry you and your family be comforted by his love.
Family and Friends of Barbara J. Irons,
May God comfort and support you in the time of your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We were blessed to know and love Barb and her wonderful family.
“Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14: 1 -3
May God Bless and Keep You,
Lou, Susan & Bethany Slautterback
Dear Bob & Family,
I first met Barb when she was a teacher’s aide at Franklin Jr.-Sr. High School, and I was a health and physical ed. teacher there alongside Bob. I found Barb to be a tiny, “genteel” lady with a very soft voice. Quite the oppositie of her husband, Bob, who was very tall and athletic with a booming voice.
God brought these two very different, yet “special” people together, who lived every day with a deep abiding faith in Him. I have no doubt that today, Barb is walking in Paradise and talking with Jesus in her soft voice with a smile on her face.
With sympathy,
June Chekanowsky
To all the Irons’,
I was sorry to hear of the loss of Barb. I have fond memories of her being our Den Mother for Cub Scouts – back in the day and she was always a friendly face.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it out to the service. I wish you all peace in knowing she is no longer suffering.
Mr. Irons, Cheryl, Kerry, Scott, and Marcy
I’m sorry and saddened for your loss. My deepest sympathy goes out to you at this difficult time.
