Zella Mae McNany (Coast)

Zella Mae McNany, 87, of Leesburg, GA and formerly of Franklin, PA, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, in Leesburg.

Born on August 9, 1937 in Clintonville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Martha (Blauser) Coast. She was a 1956 graduate of Franklin High School.

On June 11, 1960, she married the love of her life, Don M. McNany. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2015.

She retired after 43 years at Joy Manufacturing where she was proud to serve as president of their union. She loved her family and was very proud of all her grandchildren. She delighted in their accomplishments and loved them dearly. She was a faithful member of Rocky Grove Avenue Presbyterian Church of Rocky Grove, PA.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael McNany and his wife, Kelly, of Leesburg, GA, and Brenda Harting and her husband, Eric, of Franklin, PA; her beloved grandchildren, Bailey McNany and his significant other, Dasia, Abbygale McNany and her significant other, Jake, Bernie O’ Brian and her husband, Dan, and her great-granddaughter, Bella O’Brian.

The family will receive guests at the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral services for Zella will be held immediately after the visitation on Monday at the funeral home.

Zella will be laid to rest next to her husband in Franklin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Zella’s name to: the Caring Place, 103 North 13th Street, Franklin, PA 16323 and/or the cancer association of your choice since Zella was a breast cancer survivor.
