William Wade Weeter, 86, of Ocala, Florida (formerly of Franklin), passed away on Tuesday, November 11th at the Marion County Hospice, Bridge Facility in Ocala, Florida.Born December 23, 1927 in Knox, Pennsylvania, Mr. Weeter was the son of the late John L. and Leila Cassidy Weeter whom preceded him in death. He married Barbara Perry on August 15, 1944, and she also preceded him in death in 1997. His brother, Donald also preceded him in death.Mr. Weeter was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Peacetime Era. He was self-employed as a concrete contractor and retired in 1981. William was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Zem Zem Tri-Wheels.William is survived by his sons, David Weeter, and his wife, Janet, of Ocala, and Dennis Weeter, and his wife, Sydney of Maryville, Tennessee; his daughter, Carol Brown, and her husband, Randy, of Franklin; his sister-in-law, Nellie Weeter of Knox; and his brother, Allan Weeter, and his wife, Donna, of Knox. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Cody Weeter of Auburn, Alabama, Kaycee Weeter of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Bryce Weeter of Nashville, Tennessee, Wade Brown, and his wife, Amy, of Cooperstown, Shannon Kidder, and her husband, Tory, of Camp LeJeune, N.C., Heather Weeter of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.     Please accept my condolences in the loss of your father. Your family was great neighbors and friends. I have great memories of all of the times we played in the neighborhood and how both your mother and dad acted as surrogate parents for all of the Reno children. No where else could we find a cement basketball court that was always available for us.
