Wallace W. Cornell

Wallace W. Cornell, 95, formerly of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Crawford County Care Center. He was born June 2, 1917 in Beaver Center, Pennsylvania, a son of George Cornell and Nellie Everdin Cornell. He married Carolyn Bowman in September of 1962, she preceded him in death on July 22, 2004. He worked as a machine operator at American Viscose for 37 years and was also a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the Meadville Elks Club. Wallace is survived by two daughters, Donna Sparks of Phoenix, Arizona and Joyce Baker of Atlantic, Pennsylvania; one son, Eugen Cornell and his wife Dorothy of Conneautville, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Carolyn, he was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Edward Cornell; and four sisters. Per Wallace's wishes their will be no calling hours or services. Burial will take place in Spring Cemetery, Springboro, Pennsylvania.
