Vee A. Minnicks Vee A. Minnicks, 64, of Richland Township, Emlenton, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at The Caring Place in Franklin. Born June 24, 1945, she was the daughter of Charles F. and Jean M. Lammie Minnicks of East McKeesport. Vee worked at Staab Typographic and The Progress News in Emlenton for many years. She is survived by two brothers, Charles J. Minnicks and his wife, Patricia, of Irwin, and James F. Minnicks and his wife, Georgeann, of Carlisle; and a sister-in-law, Anna Jean Minnicks of Emlenton. She also is survived by her nephews and nieces, Chuck Minnicks, Sharon Kerchinsky, Charlie Minnicks, Patty Neil, Mark Minnicks, Faith Rinaldi, Hope Procacina and Jana Smyers; and several grandnephews and grand-nieces. In addition to her parents, Vee was preceded in death by her brother, Gene C. Minnicks. There will be no visitation or viewing. Memorial donations may be made to ASERA Care, 1600 Peninsula Drive, Erie, 16505. The Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin, is handling arrangements.
