TOWNVILLE - Thomas (Tom) Wayne Schreffler, 72, of Townville, passed away on August 8, 2014 at 4:00 A.M., in Erie, PA. He was born on July 3, 1942 in Titusville, PA son of the late Kenneth O and Margaret (Bryan) Shreffler On September 21, 1963 he married Rebecca Morrison in TIdioute, PA. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. Survivors include wife Rebecca, 3 children, Shannon Schreffler of Townville, Erinn Lake and her husband Richard Brozewicz of Waterford and Duane Schreffler of Browns Mills, NJ. Also two grandchildren, Emma Lake and Joshua Lake of Waterford. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, Gerald, Jay, Ray, Robert and Eugene Shreffler and 2 sisters, Barbara Petri and Mildred Gifford Bangs and infant granddaughter Amelia Jane Lake. He worked on the family oil leases as a young man and then for Erie Lackawanna and Contrail railroad in Meadville, PA. He was also self-employed doing welding and electrical work. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and making wood working projects for family and friends. Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 - 9 P.M. at Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, 33353 Main Street, Townville, a branch of Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral home and Cremation Services. The funeral service will be held, Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment will take place at Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
