Thomas Ted Friters, 73, of Chapmanville passed away on December 13, 2023 in his home with his family at his side.
Born on March 27, 1950 in Butler, he was the son of the late Ted and Sophia (Stanek) Friters.
In 1971 he married the former Susan Welsh, she survives.
Tom was a 1968 graduate of Karns City High School. He was the former owner of Petrolia Kwik Mart. He also was the manager of the Coldwell Banker real estate office in Butler.
Left to cherish Tom's memory along with is wife, Sue, are his children Ashley Ernst and her husband, Matthew, of Landenberg, PA and Joshua Friters and his wife, Sara, of Chapmanville, PA; his grandchildren Avery, Skylar and Zoey Ernst and Jacob and Emma Friters; and his sister Christine Sedano and her husband, Jesus, of San Antonio, TX.
As per Tom's wishes, no public services will be held.
Arrangements for Tom's are under the care of the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA. 16360.
Memorial contributions can be made in Tom's memory to AseraCare Hospice at the Amedisys Foundation 3854 American Way, Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
