Tom Young, 71, of Conneaut Lake passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 25 2015.
He was born on August 28, 1943 in Meadville PA, the son of the late Ray and Florence Young.
Tom was the beloved husband of Carol Young. They celebrated their 50th anniversary together in April 2013.
He was semi-retired and a veteran of the United States Army.
Tom loved spending time with his adoring wife, children, and grandchildren. His sense of humor, infectious laugh, and kind soul has brought joy to thousands of friends and acquaintances over the years. He was full of life and young at heart, and that is the way he will always be remembered.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Rod and Randy; a daughter, Tammy; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his great grandson, Jacob.
There will be a private service with his immediate family, and a memorial in his honor will take place at a later date.
I was very sad to hear the passing of Uncle Tom. Please know that my love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Your family will always have a special place in my heart. He came to see me at work just a few weeks ago….I am grateful I got to tell him …”I love you”.

Tom was a 1961 Randolph HS graduate. I’m so glad he attended our last class gathering in October 2014. He was just as full of life stories as always. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and children.
