Thomas P. McNally, 57, of Chestnut Street, Meadville, died Saturday, NOvember 22, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Glen Ridge, N.J., April 12, 1951, son of John Joseph and Mary C. Hickey McNally. He married Mina R. Roberts. She survives. He was affiliated with St. Agatha Church, Meadville. He was an insurance agent and owner of T.L. Robertson Insurance in Meadville. He was a founding member of the French Creek Recreational Trails Inc. (Ernst Bike Trail) the French Creek Road Runners Club and a member of the Crawford County Life Underwriters Association. He was also an avid runner. Tom was respected by the community for his many hours of volunteer work for the community. Surviving are his wife, Mina McNally of Meadville; two daughters, Heather C. McNally of Franklin, N.J., and Laura McNally of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Avery, Madison Brianna, Kamren, Kennedy, Conner, and Austin; a sister, Tricia Chiarell, and her husband, Rusty Hanna, of Wilmington, N.C.; two brothers, Kevin McNally and his wife, Barbara, of Morristown, N.J., and Keith McNally and Don Clarke of Toronto, Canada; two nieces, Tara Chiarell and Maureen McNally; one nephew, Brian McNally; one step-daughter, Arianne Roberts; and one step-son, Adam Roberts. Calling hours will be Monday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home, 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, with Father Ray Gramatta as Celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Agatha Cemetery, West Mead Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the French Creek Bike Trail, in care of Keith Mink, 487 Cole Drive, Meadville, PA 16335, or to the Amy Palmiero training fund, in care of Alan Pepicelli, 916 Diamond Park, Meadville, PA 16335.
