Shirley A. Norcross, 79, formerly of Centertown Road, Grove City, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Grove City. Born April 27, 1932 in Sharon, PA, Shirley was the daughter of the late Alex and Maude Calwell Cameron. She was married to Robert E. Norcross on February 14, 1984, and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2001. Shirley worked for several years at Franklin Dairy as a short order cook. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Ronald Norcross of Grove City; her step-children, Thelma Norcross and Raymond Norcross, both of Sharon, PA; her nephews, Raymond "Tubby" Laird, of Hermitage, and David Norcross of Mercer; and her nieces, Veronica Norcross, Gayle Kostelansky, and Gloria Hockenberry, all of Grove City. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her step-son and step-daughter. Family and friends will be received at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Wednesday, April 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home following visitation on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. To send condolences, flowers, cards, or to obtain further information, family and friends are invited to visit www.gardinierfuneralhome.com.

Thank you so much for reuniting Aunt Shirley with my Dad. It was so wonderful getting to know a relative I didn’t even know I had. Mom and dad really enjoyed the visits and will miss Aunt Shirley immensely. God will truly Bless you for taking such good care of her. Don’t be a stranger.
