Sheva Jeannette Yost

August 5, 1938 ~ July 22, 2026

Born in: Union City, Pennsylvania
Resided in: Clermont, Florida

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Sheva Jeannette Yost, who left us on July 22, 2026, just shy of her 88th birthday. Born on August 5, 1938, in Union City, PA, Sheva lived a vibrant life, always full of sass and energy. She made her home in Clermont, FL, where she spent many joyful days tending to her beloved yard and bringing life to the gardens of her family and friends.

Sheva worked as a hospitality supervisor at the Hilton at Walt Disney World, where her hard work and dedication were evident. Known as the chaos coordinator of the family, she had an extraordinary knack for bringing everyone together, embodying a spirit of love and generosity that will be sorely missed. Whether canning the summer’s harvest or baking treats for her loved ones, her kitchen was the heart of her home.

Sheva was an avid gardener, a go-getter who never shied away from hard work, even well into her years. A devoted Disney fan, her collection of figurines, especially Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, reflected her playful spirit and love for whimsy.

Sheva will be sorely missed by her loving family, including her daughter, Coreen Ellrodt; son, Gary Yost; daughters, Cheryl Ashry and Julie Carns; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She is survived by granddaughters Chelsea Rivera, Amanda Potter, Angela Thorton, Jazmine Yost, Karie Gilkinson, Monica Tyner, and Jeannette Somerville; grandsons Robert Yost, Michael Yost, Scott Yost, James Somerville, and Tommy Somerville; and a whole crew of great-grandchildren that filled her heart with love: Karly Amos, Kaitlyn Hockman, Victoria Thorton, Cameron Thorton, Alex Patino, Hailey Patino, Nadia Patino, Cheryl Thompson, Peyton Thompson, Crystol Kinkead, Kyia Yost, Landon Yost, Lily Yost, Morgan Yost, Alei Yost, Keshawn Williams, Hunter Sanner, Jobe Murphy, Joel Murphy, Aaron Somerville, Alexis Somerville, Carson Gerhart, Tristian Nagy, Garett McCree, Boaz Yost, and Riplee Somerville. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Judy Yost, and her sons-in-law, Ray Carns and Robert Ellrodt.

We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Sheva’s life. A visitation will be held on August 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. A funeral service will follow the next day, August 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Harmony Baptist Church.
