Shelley Ann Bontrager

MEADVILLE " Shelley Ann Bontrager, 43, of 18643 Williams St., Meadville, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in Meadville. She was born in New Orleans, La., on Nov. 1, 1966, a daughter of Lawrence (Bose) and Patsy Perez Faucheaux. She married Robert Bontrager Dec. 28, 1984. She graduated from John Ehret High School in Marrero, La. She was a bartender for 10 years at West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Department and most recently at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006. She enjoyed traveling to her hometown of New Orleans. She liked cooking and was very good at it; was a very sociable person and liked spreading time with friends; and enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her father and stepmother, Lawrence (Bose) and Carol Faucheaux of New Orleans; her husband, Robert Bontrager of Chalmette, La.; a daughter, Angela Renee Bontrager of Meadville; a son, Keane Solomen Bontrager of Meadville; a sister, Renee, of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Christopher, of New Orleans; and a nephew, Logan, of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Perez Faucheaux. Calling hours are today from 2 to 5 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. A dinner will follow at West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Department. A funeral will be conducted at Mothe Funeral Home in New Orleans. Burial will be in Our Lady of Prom Succor Cemetery, Westwego, La.
