Sharon Maynor
July 1, 1947 ~ June 16, 2024
Sharon Ruth (Carnes) Maynor, 76, of Erwin, NC passed away on June 16, 2024 in Conneaut Lake with her family at her side.
Born on July 1, 1947 in Linesville, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Doris (Young) Carnes.
After graduating high school, she followed her passion in the arts and received her Master’s in Art Education and became an Art Teacher.
She was married to Ernest "Gene" Maynor and he passed away on September 27, 2018.
Sharon was an avid reader and had a vast book collection library. She enjoyed capturing her artistic flair with paintings and making everything from clothing to stuffed animals as an expert seamstress. She had an eye for beautiful things and she captured those through the lens of her camera as a talented photographer. She loved going to the beach and working In her studio but most of all she loved her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Holly Beagle of Conneaut Lake, Christopher Robison of North Carolina, Jamison Carter of Conneaut Lake; her grandchildren Steven Beagle and his fiance, Grace Benninger, of Conneautville, Jennifer Beagle of Hamburg, NY; Zachery Carter of Conneaut Lake and Misty Carter of Conneaut Lake; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Laikynn, and Jaxson Beagle all of Conneautville, which she adored. She is further survived by her siblings, Ronald Carnes and his wife, Nancy, of Arizona, Donald Carnes and his wife, Martha, of Linesville, Bonnie Smith of Conneaut Lake, Darlene Morgan and her husband, Scott, of Conneautville, and Sandy Wheeler and her husband, John, of Springboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; her siblings Jerry Carnes, Alice Gehr, John “Jackie” Donald Cranes, Jr., and Christine Jesse.
As per Sharon’s wishes, no public services will be observed at this time and arrangements are under the care of the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA. 16335.
