Sandy Tee Harris

September 21, 1972 ~ October 11, 2026

Born in: Oberlin, Ohio
Resided in: Guys Mills, Pennsylvania

Sandy Tee Wilson Harris, 54, passed away October 11, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1972 in Oberlin, Ohio, and raised in Albion, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Lorraine M. Faunce and Richard T. Wilson.

Sandy was strong, resilient, fiercely independent, and unapologetically herself. She had a big personality, a goofy side that could make everyone around her laugh, and a strength that carried both her and her family through some of life’s hardest moments. Above all, Sandy was someone who showed up. Through celebrations and heartbreak, births and losses, good days and impossible ones, her family could always count on her to be there.

She married her soulmate and best friend, Michael J. Harris, and together they built a beautiful life and family. Some of their most precious moments were the simplest ones: a house full of family, food being made, laughter filling the room, and the people they loved gathered together.

Sandy loved cooking and gardening, and few things made her happier than bringing everyone together for family gatherings. She was also a hardcore pool player who loved the game, loved the competition, and could more than hold her own around a pool table.

Always close to Sandy was her beloved pup and emotional support companion, Maggie Mae. Maggie was so much more than a pet. She was Sandy’s faithful companion, a source of comfort and unconditional love, and a treasured member of the family.

Of all the names Sandy carried throughout her life, one of the most special was “Grammy.” She was blessed with 20 beautiful grandchildren, and being their Grammy was a role she cherished deeply.

Sandy is survived by her husband and best friend, Michael J. Harris; her children, Sara E. Ray; Christina M. Guzan and her husband, Tyler Guzan; Lorraine Johnson; Edward Smith; Ashley Hoffman and her husband, Jessie Hoffman; Brittanipaige Harris; Michael Harris Jr.; and William Harris; her 20 grandchildren; and her siblings, Frank Faunce, Richard Beatty, Reggie Wilson, Wendy Wilson, and Kobe Wilson. She also leaves behind those she loved so deeply that whether they became family by blood or by choice hardly mattered. They were hers, and she loved them as such.

Sandy was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine M. Faunce; her beloved granddaughter, Remee L. Wilkinson; and many other family members and loved ones who went Home before her.

Sandy’s faith gave her and those who love her the comfort of knowing that death would not be the end of her story. She believed she was going Home, where her mother, her granddaughter Remee, and so many others she had missed would be waiting for her. Her family finds comfort in imagining Remee already there, waiting for her Grammy.

Perhaps no one could say it better than Sandy herself. In her own handwriting, among the wishes she left behind, she wrote the words her family can now carry with them:

  1. Sandy 🫂
you were very special to me.
Memories are pictures, taken by the heart , that’s were you are , in my heart. 🥲

  2. You were a great person, always so kind and loving to all those around you. You will be missed by everyone who was blessed to have met you. Rest In Peace. Love to you and your family.

  3. Thank you Sandy for accepting me as one of your own through Sara and Nina. I will miss your stories, your resilience, your patience and understanding, your ability to forgive, and your unwavering love. The admiration I have for you will stay with me until the end of my days. Thank you for seeing me when I didn’t feel seen as a child. My only regret is that I couldn’t thank you enough. Until we talk again.

  4. My deepest condolences and sympathy to the family. I was one of those, who not by blood, adorn Sandy from afar. To her sister Wendy and all those who love her, may you find peace that she is with the creator and her loved ones who passed on before her. With love, Dr. Tamara Mangum
