Ruth you were the most wonderful mother-in-law a girl could ask for. I will miss you always.
Sydney Varner Hiles
Ruth Dimerling we will surely miss your smile that lit up a room, your quick wit and sense of humor.
You had a rock solid faith and never-ending devotion for our God.
You showed me how easy and important love for one another can be.
You touched so many lives in the greatest of ways. It came so easy to you.
I’ll never forget you praying for my father, Donald, when he passed.
You said all you could see were fireworks as if he shot his way into Heaven.
Say “Hello” to all our loved ones who have gone before you.
Till we meet again I will try to live my life as you have selflessly shown me.
Love,
Trish Kress
Love,
Your yellow rose of Texas
Mrs. Dimerling was one of my favorite teachers at Second District Elementary. May her memory be a blessing always.
Ruth was my teacher as a child, she was a great person and the best teacher. I will always remember her kindness. My condolences to her family.
Ruth was always up-to-date on legislative data about Pro Life, so when I was Regent of CDA, I incorporated Ruth’s info on our Monthly meeting schedule She was great. Then one day she showed me her Mother Teresa Doll. I happened to have a book on the Life of Mother Teresa, so I gave her the book to be with her doll,,,beautiful ! I think of her daily when I use my scrubbies that she crocheted out of netting, they are the best. Often when we chatted on the phone, I would thank her again for those scrubbies. I am so glad I was fortunate enough to get in on her generosity because she shared them with us and often. I will miss her as everyone else who knew her will mis her. She was a wonderful example to all in so many ways. Love and prayers, Mary Ann Cochran
Travel safely to the Lord, Ruth. You have done well good and faithful servant.
My parents Margaret and Neal Williams went to Clarion with your mother with your parents . Our mother was from Clarion. Her maiden was Beers . 🙏for your family .
Over the years I always looked forward to reading her ” Letters to the Editor ” that were published in the Meadville Tribune. We spoke several times over the telephone not only concering her writings, but how so many things have changed over the years. I was a student in her husbands science class back in the 1960’s sharing stories toghether from the old Meadville Junior High School on Diamond Park. To her family and many friends I send my condolences on her passing. She was a delightful person to have known and will be missed.
Ruth was the best CCD teacher my brother and I ever had. I often think of things she taught me as I participate in Bible studies at my church. I feel so blessed to have had her as a part of my spiritual journey. Prayers for all of her family during this difficult time. 🙏🏻
I have such fond memories of Mrs. Dimerling as my fourth grade teacher at Second District during the 1982-83 school year. Mrs Dimerling was a Confirmation sponsor to me in 1990 and also to my sister two years later. She made a positive impact upon so many lives. May her memory be a blessing
We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Ruth. She was a very special and beautiful lady. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. We met Ruth through the gift shop at Wesbury. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest Sumpathy,
Ruth Dimerling was one of the dearest, nicest people I’ve ever met. I babysat for the Dimerling children when they lived on Ravine Street, and I lived on First Street. When I student taught, several years later, she was my supervising teacher at Second District. She was a wonderful teacher, supervisor and role model, and made my teaching experience an excellent one. I was delighted to see her many years later, when she came to the memorial services for both of my parents, in 2003 and 2009. Although I didn’t see her often, as I left Meadville in 1970, she will always hold a very special place in my heart.
