MEADVILLE - Roy Bruce Stewart, Sr., 69, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, May 17, 2014, peacefully at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on October 27, 1944 in Titusville, PA to the late Harley Ardrey and Emily Howe Stewart.
Bruce owned and operated Stewart Sheet Metal. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, he loved drag racing and reading his car magazines. Bruce's main love was his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ardrey and Emily Stewart, also two brothers David and Gary Lee Stewart.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Marie Ferraro Stewart. Son, Roy Bruce Stewart, Jr. of Meadville; three sisters, Joyce (Gary) Sliter of Guys Mills; Anne (Dale) Baker of Dallas, TX and Carol Sue Stewart of PA; one brother Randy (Pat) Stewart of TItusville, PA. Also his cherished grandchildren, Drew and Ella Stewart.
Services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.

So sorry for your loss. Bruce did a lot of cutting of aluminum and fabricating of different signage in my business. He was definitely one of the nicest people I’ve had the privilege to work with. He always had a solution with what ever project I presented to him. He will be missed!!!
