Prayers to his loving wife Tammy, & the whole family.
Ron was a very nice man. I met him at karaoke at the Moose. I’ll always remember him singing Seven Spanish Angels. He definitely will be missed. Prayers for the family.
Ron was a good friend since we met in High School. He was always fun to hang out with and will be missed by everyone. He had such a big personality and loved to make you laugh. RIP Ron
Joe and I met and got to know Ron from hanging at the Moose Lodge. We really enjoyed Ron’s sense of humor and recently learned of his great singing at karaoke! It certainly will not be the same without Ron …… but his memory will live forever and he sure was a happy, fun friend. Sending sympathy and huge hugs to Tammy, Ron’s Mom Rita, and the entire family.
Sincere Love ~Joe & Laurie Tomnay~
And I am grateful for that. Ronnie was the best little brother ever. He was always trying to make you laugh, following you to the bus stop when he wasn’t even in school yet. He would do anything on a dare or for quarter. He didn’t care about the quarter he just cared about you. He made friends with everyone from the beginning wherever we went. Always. When we lived on 322 he would have dinner at Sam & Martha’s , The Deet’s, Our house and prob Uncle Jeff and Aunt Chereie’s to. He just was like that and he stayed like that. He was very protective of the ones he loved and if anyone messed with you. They would get “the boot” if you know what that means you know what that means. Ronnie stayed that way. He did it to make you laugh, to lighten your load, to lighten his load. Our Mother always told him well into his 40’s “stop doing the splits at The Moose for free drinks” he didn’t of course not listen to her, and he didn’t do it for the free drinks, entirely , he did it for you, to make you laugh, because He Loved You. This is his older brother Doug by the way. I’ll see you all at The Moose and look forward to hearing your stories. Doesn’t feel real.
Well said Doug! We were definitely a force of 4 to be reckoned with! He might have got us into most of the scuffles but we always stuck together no matter what….because we of course were not “Humans…we were Newman’s”! As we got older…he was definitely the protector of the family and I always loved him for that. I always felt so safe and loved when he was around….. I fell so empty now not having that but we still have each other and I know that he is up there looking out for us as we continue on this journey of life and that brings me such peace….♥️
I’m looking forward to Celebrating his life on March 8th at the Moose and we will eat, drink, be merry and sing Karaoke…. But I’m not sure who is going to step up to the plate and do a split for him that night!!! Somebody better start stretching and practice….❤️❤️❤️😂
