My deepest condolences to the McMurray family.I have fond memories of Rod coming to hear the band on occasion of course with his brother,Steve, playing with us.I am very sorry for your loss.I wish you peace going forward at this difficult time.

I grew up with Rod. We hunted. We fished. We rode motorcycles. We played pool. We were there in all of the stories about Walt The Sneak (it’s all true). We smoked a thousand cigs and chawed a ton of chew before we were allowed. We were Chucklers, damnit. One night we were watching Chiller Theater (Boyer was there, too) and decided to see if farts could really be lit. They can and I don’t remember ever laughing harder in my life. Rod was my friend and it makes me sick that we never had a chance to reconnect. I hope you died happy and yuuuuuult. Jeff Beers.
