Robert W. Kingston

Robert W. Kingston, 96 of Penn Hills, formerly of Meadville, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Allegheny Place. He was boron on May 24, 1921 in Edinboro, PA. Son of the late George and Merle Milspaw Kingston. He married Virginia Shirk on December 9, 1943 and she preceded him in passing on June 7, 2009.
Robert retired from Talon and was formerly a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church in Meadville. He enjoyed golf and woodworking.
Survivors include his daughter Sue Phillippi of of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren; eight great grand children and three great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Robert was preceded in passing by his son, Mark W. Kingston.
Friends and family are invited to a military service on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home, 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 109 Crossroads Rd Suite 400, Scottdale, PA 15683, in Robert's name.

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. In remembering the years worked together at Talon, they were years of pleasure and joy. Bob was a great foreman and person to be around. My condolences to his remaining family.
