Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Nancy and family, I am so pleased that I was teaching with Bob. He was the most wonderful teacher and man. You were blessed to have him. I am so sad……..

  2. Very sorry to hear of the passing of our middle school principal. I have fond memories of Mr. Muse at YMCA swim meets and was always a pleasure to see him at school, service, and community activities.

  3. I am sad to hear of Mr. Muse’s passing. My time as a middle school student was at the tail end before his retirement. I found him to be a fair man who cared about his students. I was an OK student but occasionally in minor trouble over acting out due to boredom and having a snarky sense of humor. Either way, Mr. Muse was always kind and respectful. He made me feel like I mattered. He is somebody I still remember fondly and wish I would have crossed paths with him now that I’m an adult. He was a good man.

  5. If ever a person walked with Jesus, it was Bob. Bob was an elementary teacher and then my middle school principal whom I was so very fortunate to teach under. He was an educator who was both loved and respected by his students and staff.

  6. Richard & Maryann Black sends their deepest condolences and prayers for the family. I ( Terry Black ) sending my deepest condolences for the family.

  7. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Muse. Many who attended Sandycreek and/or Franklin Middle School were blessed to have him either as a teacher, principal or both. Whenever I stroll down memory lane, Mr Muse is one of the educators whom I remember fondly and had a positive influence in my life. Mr Muse had a quiet, caring yet commanding presence which held the respect of his students. He was invested in his students’ lives and made time to talk with us. One lighthearted memory I have of Mr Muse is the first time I saw him drive into school in his Volkswagen Beetle. I watched with amazement as this “giant” effortlessly peeled himself out from behind the wheel of this sardine tin can of a car. When he stood, his height dwarfed the car and I. remember wondering if he was going to be able to fold himself back into the driver’s seat at the end of the day.

Mr. Muse was a wonderful man and I am grateful I had the opportunity to know him. My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Muse, their family and friends. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️
