Robert K. Yard Robert K. Yard, 47, of 1235 Liberty Street, Franklin, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, June 11. Born, January 14, 1964, in Franklin, Robert was the son of Eugene G. "Gib" and Kathleen "Cathy" Fuchs Yard. He was married June 26, 1999, to the former Linda M. Dunlap, and she survives. Robert had previously worked at Titusville Fabrications. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Robert is survived by his brother, Richard Yard and his wife, Barb of Franklin; his sisters, Cindy Yard of Edinboro, and Kristie Montgomery of Franklin; and his special aunts and uncles, Sandy and Larry Miller, and Audrey and Jim Brown. He is also survived by his nieces, Nicole Keely, Brittany Montgomery, Chloe McMullen and Hailey Yard; and his nephews, Nicholas Montgomery, Zachary Montgomery, Jared Montgomery, Owen McMullen and Benjamin Yard. Mr. Yard is additionally survived by his grandmother, Millie Fuchs, of Franklin; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins; many friends; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vivian and Ed Dunlap; and his sister-in-law, Doreen Keely. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Fuchs; his nephew, Matthew Keely; and his cousin, Jeffrey Miller. Family and friends of Mr. Yard will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, June 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 14 at 1 p.m., with Rev. Janz, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
