Robert Giliberto

Robert Giliberto, 59, of 1086 Park Ave., Meadville, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Rolling Fields, Conneautville. Born in Meadville Aug. 11, 1950, he was a son of Fred and Josephine Cavnola Giliberto. He was a graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School, and assistant manager of Loblaws Grocery. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a member of the Italian Civic Club and Meadville Eagles Aerie 429. He was a member of St. Agatha Church. Survivors include three children, David Giliberto and his wife, Beth, of Meadville, Christina Baker of Dameron, Md., and Phillip Giliberto and his wife, Sarah, of Pittsburgh; five siblings, Joseph Giliberto of Meadville, Frank Giliberto of Meadville, Louise Karpinski of Erie, Mary Berry of Meadville and Fred Giliberto of Meadville; and four grandchildren, Reagan Giliberto, Nahtanah Giliberto, Alexandria Baker and Katherine Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James Giliberto. Calling hours will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Father Raymond Gramata of St. Agatha Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.
