Robert Christopher Kriek

Robert Christopher Kriek, 58, of Franklin, passed away on September 24, 2026 at Mercy Health, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, OH with family at his side.

Born on April 13, 1968 he was the son of Susan (Lee) Adams of Franklin and the late Robert “BK” Edward Kriek Sr. He was a 1986 graduate of Franklin High School.

Robbie was a machinist for various places like Tri-Co Machine, Miller Equipment, and Moon Tool.

He loved to read and would spend many hours reading whatever book he could get his hands on. He also enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. He was an avid Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Braves fan and getting tattoos that were generally dragon related. Most of all, he enjoyed every moment of time he could spend with his grandchildren whether it be visiting petting zoos, cheering them on at extracurricular activities, or simply hanging out.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother Susan Adams and her husband, Larry “Mouse”, of Franklin are his children, Ryan Kriek and his wife, Annette Dean, of Niles, Ohio and Kaitlynn Kriek of Franklin; his favorite grandchildren Hunter Kriek-Wise of Franklin and Sofia Kriek of Niles, OH; his siblings Dawn Kriek and her partner, Kim Woods, of Franklin, Jessica Doyle and her husband, Terry, of Utica, Tammi Safran and her husband, Jeremy, of Stoneboro, and Brandon Kriek of Franklin.

The family will welcome guests on Tuesday, September 29th at Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin from 3 pm until the start of funeral services at 6 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Robbie’s memory to the Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, Neurology Dept., 1044 Belmont Avenue, Youngstown, PA 44504 and/or the Venango County Humane Society, 286 South Main Street, Seneca, PA 16346.
