Richard "Rich" Lee Spaich, 74, passed away on April 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 10, 1947 in Bradford, PA, he was the son of the late Hattie Spaich. After graduating from Strong Vincent High School, Erie, PA he proudly joined the U.S. Marines to serve his great nation. Rich met the love of his life, Jean Darleen Kelley, and they married on March 30, 1974. He was a hard working mechanic for General Electric. He loved to be outdoors which included fishing and camping and was a staunch prepper. Rich and his wife liked to drive around and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Jean Spaich of Union City; his children, Jean Ashberry and her husband, James, of Union City and Richard Spaich, Jr. of Union City; his grandchildren, Richie Spaich of Union City, Ashley Spaich and her fiancee, Michael Long, of Union City, Lamar Ashberry of Union City, Brandon Ashberry of Georgia and Heather Ashberry of Erie; and his favorite great-grandson, Noah J. Long of Union City. He is further survived by his sisters, Darlene Adams and her husband, Harry, of Erie and Linda Burfield of Erie. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brothers Hank Reeves and Dale Bullock and his twin brother, Ray Spaich. The family has requested no services to be held. Arrangements for Rich are under the care of Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA .
