Richard C. Latshaw

Richard C. Latshaw, 66, of Warren Road, Franklin, died at 4:24 a.m., June 3, 2011 at his residence. Born October 27, 1944 in Franklin, he was the son of the late Paul and Ruth Sarver Latshaw. Mr. Latshaw retired from Polk Center in 1997, where he worked as a RSA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to flea markets. Richard was married on October 29, 1964 to the former Marilyn King, who survives. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his son Dennis Latshaw and his wife, Jann of Franklin; his granddaughter, Shelby Latshaw of Franklin; and his brother Phil Latshaw and his wife, Arvilla of Pleasantville. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth Latshaw; and his sister, Barbara Wood. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Woodlee of the Franklin Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will take place in Franklin Cemetery.
