Raymond E. Deal

Raymond E. Deal, Jr. Raymond E. Deal, Jr., 71, formerly of Franklin, died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Snyder Memorial Health Care in Marienville, PA. Born March 17, 1939 in Franklin, he was the son of Raymond E. Deal, Sr. and Betty Jane Kline Deal. Raymond served in the Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a boiler operator for Polk Center until his retirement. Mr. Deal loved farming and his animals. He enjoyed buying, renting, and fixing homes. Raymond is survived by two sisters, Nicki Rae Kay of Franklin and Nancy Louise Bickel and her husband, William of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
