Ramon Leo Sterling, age 79, of Centerville, passed away on June 6, 2024 at home while holding hands with his beloved wife, Donna Mae Sterling. Ramon was born in Titusville on June 10, 1944 to Leo Sterling and Margaret Gariepy Sterling. He married Donna Prenatt on December 1, 1962. He was owner and operator, along with his wife, of Sterling Sanitation since 1965. He had a passion for hunting and fishing especially in Canada with his family. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ramon is survived by his wife, Donna Sterling of Centerville; two sons, Roger Sterling and his wife, Anita Sterling, of Chapmanville and David Sterling and his wife, Pamela Davison of Guys Mills; four grandchildren, Katie Nobles (Bill), Steve Sterling (Lindsey), Ryan Sterling, and Breanna Sterling (Cage); and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Jean Southall (Bob) of Centerville and Karen Sterling (Mark) of Centerville. Ramon is preceded in death by his parents, Leo Sterling and Margaret Sterling of Centerville; and a sister, Linda Hershberger of Centerville. There will be no funeral or calling hours per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ramon's name to the charity of one's choice.   3. Extending my condolences to his family and friends. My parents lived in Five Corners and retired to the house next to Leo and Peggy’s on Dutch street. Later it was purchased by his sister and brother-in-law. So to read of Ramon’s passing.

  5. Sorry to just now find out about Ray. He and my late husband were good friends for years ( Bob LaCaze ) He and Dave did some work at our house on E.Freemont St. And the Town and Country Bakery years ago.. prayers for the family..
