Ralph Thomas Lindsey, 72, of Meadville, passed away, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born May 5, 1940 a son of Ralph D. Lindsey and Margaret Humes Lindsey. He married Flossie Burnett on June 21, 2008. She survives. He was a 1958 graduate of Richland High School in Gibsonia. Ralph was the Regional Manager of AP Auto Parts in charge of the whole east coast, a manager for NAPA auto parts, and was the co-owner with Richard "Moose" Stierheim, Mead Auto Parts. He volunteered at Meadville Medical Center for 15 years. Ralph loved gardening winning many blue and red ribbons at the Crawford County Fair for his vegetables, NASCAR, building race cars when he was young, hot air ballooning, and was an avid Steelers fan. He will be remembered most for always having a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. In addition to his loving wife, Flossie he is survived by a son, Ralph E. Lindsey and his wife Kimberly of North Carolina; a grandson, Christopher Lindsey of North Carolina; two step-grandchildren, Justin Merritt of Meadville and Ashley Merritt of North Carolina; a step-great grandchild, Zoe Alexander of North Carolina; a sister, Judee Mastrillie of Michigan; special friends; Andrew and Jessica Harkness and baby Ava. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty J. Lindsey, and best friend; his dog Candy. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 13th at 1:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. With Pastor David Brumagin, officiating. Memorial donation may be made in Ralph's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
