Pearl A. Wentworth, 86, of 1501 Keely Road, Franklin died at 1:03 PM ,January 22, 2013 at UPMC-Northwest Seneca. Born July 30, 1926 in Franklin, PA, Pearl was the daughter of the late Louie and Bessie (Keely) Krepp. Pearl was employed at Sylvania Electric in Pleasantville for five years, the General Telephone Company for ten years , and for twenty years at Polk Center as a supervisor Resident Service Aide, where she retired from in 1987. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Franklin Moose, and a social member of the V.F.W. Pearl is survived by daughters, Carla Daly and her husband, James, of Franklin, and Rose Braden and her husband, Randy, of Erie; her step-children, Janice Wentworth of Sandy Lake, Randy Wentworth of Sandy Lake, and Julie Wentworth of Franklin; her grandchildren, Sherry Kelly and her husband, Ray of Sandy Lake, Misty Monaco of Franklin, and Lana Mestas of Oil City; and her seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Cole; and her brothers, Jack, Ray, and Bert Krepp. Family and friends of Pearl will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Thursday, January 24th, 2013, from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11 AM , with Rev. Gary Small pastor of the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren in Christ Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 737 Elk Street, Franklin, PA 16323.
