IF YELLOW ROSES GROW IN HEAVEN
If yellow roses grow in Heaven Lord please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mothers arms and tell her they are from me.
Tell her I love and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a
kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy I do it everyday, but there
is an ache within my heart that will never go away.
I LOVE YOU MOM!
Your not only my Mom your my best friend!
Your daughter Shani
Pat was one of the most wonderful ladies that I worked with for many years at Kmart. Always happy, upbeat, so proud of her wonderful Family. God has truly gained a beautiful angel. God Bless and keep her, may he make his face to shine down upon her and bring her peace. My heart goes out to each and every member of her family at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bink, Laurie, Dawnie and Shani, I am sorry for your loss. I don’t know how to say how I feel, about your loss. But here’s some memories. I remember the 1st time a met Pat, working at Kmart. She always met me with a smile. I will always remember “Boss Lady” and her “Jet Shoes.” I always said that she must have “Jet Shoes” because, 1 minute she was asking” how I was doing? ” By the time I turned around, to answer, she was already on the other side of the store, working, with someone else, who needed her. And I called her “Boss Lady.” Because she never acted like a “Boss” But she was always the lady. She never was a person, who thought, she was “above you”. She was always the person who was “beside you.” And she was that kind of person, outside of work also. She never thought she was “above” anybody. and if they needed help. She was always there. I think that’s what I will always loved, about her. You could always be sure, when you wanted a friend, she was always beside you.. What I will always remember about Pat was, she didn’t treat me like a friend. She always treated me like family. Just like all of your family have always done. I will always miss the Saturday nights. I spent there, just sitting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee, talking ,laughing, and listening to the “pickers.” playing real music. I remember the 1st time I came to the house, on a Saturday night. She poured me a cup of coffee. And said “I will pour your 1st cup. But after that, you know where it is. And help yourself” That’s the only place I’ve been, where I was comfortable enough to just walk into someone’s home, go right to the cabinet, get a cup, pour a cup of coffee, sit at the table, and just start talking and laughing. I never really wanted to leave. because she always cared. And the many holidays. I spent there were always great. Again, she and all of you treated me like family. I know she’s in heaven now, with the family and friends, who got there before her. And she isn’t afraid of heights now. Because she’s looking over the edge of the clouds, saying “Hey it’s alright. And I love you” She will always be an important part of my life. As is all of your family She always taught by example, about caring for others. And just enjoying the important things in life. which were family and friends. She is going to be sadly missed by a lot of people. God bless you all. Because he did bless me, just by putting her and your family, in my life. From: her “other son” Jerry
