Mildred Alice Deeb

MEADVILLE " Mildred Alice Deeb, 89, of 729 N. Cottage St., Meadville, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Dayton, Pa., Dec. 2, 1920, a daughter of Fredrick and Mildred Clever Lydick. She married Joseph Deeb on April 12, 1947. He preceded her in death March 27, 1993. In her earlier years, she worked at Talon Inc. of Meadvile. She was a member of St. Agatha Church and was a former member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society. She loved spending time with her grandson. She also enjoyed bingo and playing cards. Survivors include two sons, Steve Deeb and his wife, Beverly, of Erie and Timothy Deeb of Meadville; a daughter, Mary A. Mead and her husband, John, of Meadville; a grandson, Steven Joseph Mead of Meadville; two adopted sons, Kevin Keppel of Meadville and Joe Fucci of Meadville; and a brother, Neil Lydick and his wife, Bonnie, of Plumville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Deeb; her father, Fredrick Lydick; her mother, Mildred (Clever) Lydick; four brothers, Keith, Leslie, John and Fredrick Lydick; and two sisters, Marilyn Walters and Cheryl Gandolf. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a prayer vigil will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Agatha Church, with Father Raymond Gramata as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Agatha Cemetery, West Mead Township.
