Merlin R. Morton

Merlin R. Morton, 59 of Union City, passed away, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, Pennsylvania. He was born in Union City on October 6, 1958, a son of Oliver H. and Elaine P. Morton. He was a 1976 graduate of Union City High School and attended a trade school. He attended Wilkins Community Church. Merlin was employed by Parker Quick Coupling Division for 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, metal work, and was a computer guru. He is survived by his mother, Elaine P. Morton of Union City; a special friend, Charlene Daniels of Waterford; an aunt Elizabeth Morton of Phillipsville and numerous cousins, special friends and neighbors. Merlin was preceded in death by his father on February 9, 2016. There will be no services. Burial will take place in Shreve Ridge Cemetery.
