Melvin Lewis Williams

Melvin Lewis Williams, 80, of Meadville, passed away, on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on April 16, 1933 in Guys Mills, a son of John and Retta Williams. He married Joanne Lance. He was a US Army Veteran and worked as an auto body technician for Howick Auto Body and Dillaman Brothers. Melvin enjoyed fishing, camping, and rebuilding cars. He is survived by a son, Russell Williams and his wife Coriena of Meadville; two grandchildren, Alex Williams of Meadville and (Marine Lance Corporal) Justin Williams of Camp Lejeune; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a sister. There will be no calling hours or services. Memorial donations may be made in Melvin's Memory to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, Pennsylvania 16335.
