I was a neighbor of May Garris for a number of years. I owned the little white house next door and was a single parent. May was always so kind. She did alterations of some of my son’s clothing. She and my son (Dan Dickens) shared the same birthday and they would sneak to each other’s house and leave a birthday card for each other. She was a great neighbor and a very kind lady and I miss seeing her and talking to her. I was actually just thinking about her yesterday ironically. Blessings to her family and know that I appreciated her kindness and friendship. ~Pat Hoffman (formerly Dickens).
Dear Family of May,
I was good to remember May in the Friendship Circle class of Christ United Methodist Church. Many times I have been able to visit with her at the Station–sharing our common birthday of April 16th. A sprecial hello to Debbie (haven’t seen you for many years). Our joy is that May can rest in peace and feel fully restored with the Lord. Marie Cozad
