My sister, Jeanne, and I first met Mary years ago at a Pittsburgh Steelers’ party hosted by our mutual friends, Bev and the late Ron Lintner. Since then we shared more than a few good times watching the Steelers on TV with our friend, Mary, and enjoying good food and good times. To quote Winnie the Pooh, “A friend is one of the nicest things you can have and one of the best things you can be.” We will miss our friend, Mary, and think of her every time we watch the Steelers play.

Mary lived next to us years ago on Liberty Street. When she moved we said we will always still be called neighbors. Seeing her at Mass, visiting at her new homes over the years and at my Mother’s home will be missed. She always had a hello and a hug for us!
She made us too many German chocolate cakes to count. Not even a crumb was ever left in the pan. We miss you Mary. Thank you for your love, kindness and smile. As a family we pray, Eternal rest grant unto you and may perpetual light shine upon you. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. AMEN. Love always, Joe, Margaret, Joe, Emilee and Natalie Janidlo
My condolences to the Kollar family in the loss of your dear sister, Mary. We met back in the 80’s when we worked at West Unit together. She was a good worker and enjoyed taking good care of her patients. She and my late husband, Ron, would watch the Pirate games together, and we invited her often to join our football parties with our friends as we cheered on the Steelers. One of her favorite things was to play with our golden retrievers. She loved them.
Mary was a dear and loyal friend, and she will be missed a great deal.
God bless you all.
