Mary Lang Mary Lang, 83, of Meadow Road, Seneca, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Sugar Creek Station, where she had resided for the past several months. Born March 31, 1927 in Eau Claire, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Louella Seaton Stewart. She was married July 10, 1989 to Robert A. Lang, and he survives. Mary worked for Polk Center for 10 years as a Resident Staff Aide, until she retired from there in 1987. She also at one time worked at Brown's Boot Shop and Thrift Drugstore as a sales clerk. For many years, she also had her own antique shop in Franklin. Mary attended St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed the slot machines, crocheting, traveling and sewing. In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Doyle and her husband, Fred, of Polk, and Sandra Gander and her husband, Roy, of Franklin; and her step-sons, John Lang and his wife, Sarah, of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Terry Lang and his wife, Linda, of Franklin. She is also survived by her brothers, Joe Stewart and his wife, Kathy, of Hermitage, Glenn Stewart of Arizona, and Edward Stewart and his wife, Sue, of St. Cloud, Florida; and her sister, Twila "Vallie" Mitchell of West Middlesex. Additionally, Mary is survived by her eight grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Kevin Hoffman, and her grandson, Freddie Doyle. A Memorial Service for Mary will be held at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., on Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m. with Msgr. John Herbein, as celebrant. There will be no visitation. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Patrick Building Fund, 949 Liberty Street, Franklin PA 16323.
