So sorry to hear about Mary. I worked with her at PPG for many years and have a lot of fond memories from the times we shared. She was secretary to P.K. Whitney when I first started working and then she worked in the accounting department as payroll clerk. I operated the computer in the office and so we had many occasions to work together when it came time to get out the paychecks etc. She was a dear sweet lady.
Paul, I was so sorry to hear about Mary. Please know that you are in my thoughts during this time.
Aunt Mary was a special person…she was always so full of life when she attended our family gatherings. She will be missed…another of the Greatest Generation has gone to glory. May Mary, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
I worked closely with Mary on the computer based payroll system at PPG. I’ve never met anyone who cared so very much about the accuracy of the payroll. She would spent hours going over every detail. She thought I sometimes didn’t dress properly and brought me some of her husbands ties. She will be missed by all those who knew her! RIP Mary!
