Mary B. Stewart, 90, of 329 Liberty Street, Franklin died at on November 11, 2012 at The Caring Place in Franklin. Born June 25, 1922 in Franklin, PA, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Mint) Zalinski. She was married to George Stewart on August 23, 1945 , and he survives. Mary was a Homemaker and was a member of Saint Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Franklin. In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her daughters, Barbara A. Burgert of Pittsburgh and Anne L. Bryarly her husband, Butch of Albuquerque, NM; four grandchildren, Marcy Burgert and Ken Kiczan of Pittsburgh, Lance Burgert and his wife, Kirstyn, of Pittsburgh, Julie Mazzola and her husband, Mike, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Nicole Edge of Pagosa Springs, CO; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley Burgert and Amanda Gerhard. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Barbara Zalinski; her brother, Jack Jordan, and her sister, Helen Jordan. Family and friends of Mary will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Thursday, November 15, 2012 , from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 12:00 p.m., with Deacon Walter Jones of St. Patrick Church in Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to AseraCare Hospice, Peninsula Drive, Suite 14, Erie, PA 16505.
