Mary Ann Lynch, 78, of Meadville, passed away, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at home on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was born December 6, 1944, in Meadville, a daughter of the late Stanley L. Hargenrater and Mabelle M. (King) Hargenrater. She married the love of her life, Michael J. Lynch on July 2, 1966, he survives. Mary Ann was a 1963 graduate of Saint Agatha High School. She was a proud and active member of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, where she gained a strong faith in God sharing and passing that down to her family. Mary Ann adored children, helping to raise and babysit many over the years. In addition to her loving husband of 56 years, Michael, left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathleen (Ken) Weaver, Susan (Rob) Andrews; a son, Stephen (Wendy) Lynch; cherished grandchildren, Kelly (Bryan) O'Herlihy, Kenny Weaver and his fiancée, Andi, Tyler, Kyle (Jessica), and Nicholas Lynch, Thomas, Allison, and Sarah Andrews; her precious great-grandchildren, Brantley, Kylie, and Liam Lynch, Emily and Paisley Lynch, and Ronan O'Herlihy; three dear sisters, Leonora Petersen, Jeanette Franz, and Margaret Winters; several special in laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Michael John Lynch, Jr.; her brother, Stanley, Jr., and several brothers in law. Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday, April 13th from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. A prayer vigil service will be held at 7:30 pm with Deacon Todd Sommers, officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 14th at 10:00 a.m. at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville, with Father Joseph Petrone, as celebrant. Mary Ann will be laid to rest in Saint Agatha Cemetery, Meadville. Memorial donations may be made to Seton Catholic School, 385 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.   1. Our hearts go out to the Lynch family with the sad news of MaryAnn’s passing. She was such a loving woman who watched our girls and became another part of our family as they referred to her as Grandma. God truly received an angel when he called MaryAnn home.

  3. To the entire Lynch family, I was saddened to read about Mary Ann’s passing. I have so many fond memories of all of you… children and grandchildren. I pray the the closeness and love you have for each other will sustain you as you solidify precious memories of Mary Ann in your hearts. She was one special lady. Mary Ann was an asset to everyone at church. She made all of us feel a little closer to God. Mary Ann will be sadly missed.
