Martha J. Williamson, 84, passed away, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge. She was born on May 17, 1939 in Erie, a daughter of George N. Alford and Anna M. Nelson Alford. She married Glenn H. Alexander in 1961, he preceded her in death in 1973. She subsequently married Theodore J. Williamson in 1985, he preceded her in death in 2008.
She was a high school graduate and attended Cosmetology School in Erie. She was employed as a manager at several different Perkins locations throughout the area and retired from the Perkins in Corry.
Martha was a member of the American Legion. She enjoyed mowing the lawn, drinking her black coffee, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Glenn B. Alexander (Rebecca Hott) of Union City; grandchildren, Anthony (Megan) Alexander, Alyssa Alexander, Adam Alexander, and Mikayla Barker; great-grandchildren, Emalynne, Bryce, Audrey, Caden, Abigail, Tucker, and Connor; a brother, Nelson Alford of Idaho; sister-in-law, Joyce Ethridge; a dear friend, Lois Barlow; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by her brothers, John, Neil, and Bob; sisters, Hazel, Norma, Mary, and Ann; a granddaughter, Paige Hott; and a niece, Judy Smith.
Services will be private.
Private burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.
