Marna J. Furlong, 79, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away at Fort Lauderdale Health & Rehab Center on May 27, 2011. She was born in Detroit, MI, on June 20, 1931 a daughter of Alferd Hand and Jessie Bryan. She married Dwayne “Babe” Furlong in August 1953 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1980. She enjoyed crafts, helping others, playing bridge, shopping and time with her cat, A.J. While living in Meadville she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Marna worked for Rodney Devore Construction before moving to Florida. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Fox of Saegertown and Michaelene Weber and her husband Albert of Meadville; grandsons Dwayne and Randy Weber; niece Mary Lynn Patenteau and her husband Mark Singer of Miami, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and four sisters. Graveside service will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Thursday, June 2 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Robert Goodnough of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow.
