Mark E. Gill Mark E. Gill, 56, of Sassafrass Street, Franklin, passed away at 6:29 a.m., Friday, May 13, at The Caring Place in Franklin. Born September 29, 1954 in Warren, Ohio, Mark was the son of the late Cecil and Betty Craver Gill. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, and had been self-employed as a contractor. Mark was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, and had previously taught archery. He had a wonderful singing voice and loved music. Mark is survived by his daughter, Kelly Gill of North Carolina; his brother Greg Gill of Illinois; his sisters, Louise Osborne of Kentucky and Debbie Gill of Ohio; and his cousin, Raymond Cromley of Ohio. He is also survived by his special friend, Janet Gourley, of Franklin and her children, Janet and Danette, of Wisconsin, and Brandon,of Franklin. Friends and family of Mark will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Monday, May 16 from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral services for Mark will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sue Evans, Venango VNA Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
