Marion May Deeter

Marion May Deeter, 75, of Erie and formerly of Union City, passed away, Sunday, June 23, 2024 unexpectedly at her residence. She was born on May 27, 1949 in Meadville, Pennsylvania and was raised by her step-father, Francis Baldwin. She was a member of the Union City First Baptist Church, Union City Senior Center, Union City Fire Department Auxiliary, and Take of Pounds Sensibly where she was the top weight loss winner in Pennsylvania in 1993 losing 94 1/2 pounds. Marion enjoyed crafts, embroidering, and knitting. She is survived by her dear friend who was a sister to her, Bonnie Davis and her husband Jim big brother of Erie; the entire Davis family; and a cousin, Eileen of Florida. Marion was preceded in death by her step-father; mother; and a brother. Private burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marion's memory to the Union City Volunteer Fire Department, 50 Second Ave., Union City, Pennsylvania 16438.
