Marion E. Proctor Marion E. Proctor, 82, of 26 McKinley Street, Franklin, passed away at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010 , at Sugar Creek Station, where she had been a resident. Born April 26, 1928, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Stella Deeter Young. She was married to Manley M. Proctor Jr. on June 22, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1989. Mrs. Proctor was a homemaker. She was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing word finds and playing cards. Mrs. Proctor is survived by her four sons: Robert E. Proctor and his wife, Penny; Barry L. Proctor and his wife, Betty; Brian K. Proctor and his special friend, Darla Denny; Mark A Proctor and his wife, Carol, all of Franklin. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Yolanda Heasley and her husband, Matthew, of Leeper; Susan Foster and her husband, Jeffrey, of Cochranton; Brooke Proctor and Emily Proctor, both of Franklin; and her four great-grandchildren: Matthew Graham of Franklin; Brittany Graham; Austin Stelene; and Kody Stelene, all of Leeper. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Proctor was preceded in death by her grandson, Robert James Spencer; her five brothers: Melvin "Mike" Young, Robert Young, Lloyd Young, Lawrence Young and Clair Young; her seven sisters: Helen Stainbrook, Margaret Tucker, Geraldine Vincent, Vernice Vogan, Beatrice Murdoch, Florence Young, and Hazel Young. Friends may call at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services for Mrs. Proctor will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Domenick Pietro, pastor of the Canal Wesleyan Methodist Church, presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Garden.     I don’t know if you remember me, but I was your 2nd grade teacher. I remember you fondly and also your dear mother. I’m so sorry about her death; please extend my sympathies to your whole family. I live in Rochester, NY now, but saw her obit online. You’re in my thoughts.
