Maria Ann Soltis

Maria Ann Soltis, 53, of 16067 Williams Road, Meadville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic.She was born Oct. 10, 1956, in Meadville. Maria married Joseph M. Soltis on June 25, 1982. Her husband, Joe, will always remember Maria, as his "gentle breeze."Maria was a member of Saegertown United Methodist Church, and a 1974 graduate of Saegertown Junior-Senior High School. She was proud mother to four beautiful daughters and a life-long supporter of Crawford County 4-H.Survivors include her husband, Joseph, of 27 years; daughter, Christina Reynolds of Meadville, along with three grandchildren, Tyler, Cadence and Ian; daughter, Susan Soltis and her fianc� of Hermitage; daughter, Veronica Hall and her husband, David, of Centerville; daughter, Megan Frantz and her husband, Brian, of California; mother, Jean Moses; sister, Debbie Cornell; brother, Bobby Moses; stepmother, Hazel Moses; stepbrother, Jim Caldwell; stepbrother, Jerry Caldwell; in addition to several nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy; father, Fay Moses; and grandson, Joseph Michael Frantz.A formal ceremony will not be held due to Maria's wishes. All friends (past and present) and family are invited to attend a celebration in remembrance of the life of Maria to be held Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Sertoma Club of Meadville, on Baldwin Street Extension.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Crawford County 4-H Horse and Pony Leaders, c/o Ona Mahoney, 17399 Ridge Road, Meadville, Pa. 16335.Arrangements are under the direction of Roofner-Collins Funeral Home, 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.
