Margaret Perricone

Margaret Perricone, 86, of 11135 Shaw Ave., Meadville, passed away at her home on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008. She was born Oct. 11, 1922, in Monreale, Sicily, a daughter of Joseph and Frances Badagliacca. She married Anthony Perricone on Feb. 23, 1946. She retired from J.C. Penney after 21 years of service. Margaret loved her family, crocheting, gardening and her home. She was a member of St. Agatha's Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She is survived by her husband, Anthony, of 62 years; two sons, Anthony (Kathy) of Forsyth, Ill., and Donald (Jill) of Fresno, Calif.; two brothers, Andrew (Bernadine) Badagliacca of Washington, Pa., and John (Eileen) Badagliacca of Meadville; three sisters, Rose (Nick) Cappellino and Frances (Gary) Belknap, both of Meadville, and Theresa (Larry) VanDervort of Buena Park, Calif.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Ben and Joseph Badagliacca. Calling hours are from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. A vigil prayer service will be conducted there at 7 p.m. today. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville. Entombment will be in St. Brigid Mausoleum. The family would like to thank Hospice and Heartfelt for their compassionate care.
