Margaret J Harris

Margaret J. Harris, 83, of 351 Causeway Drive, passed away at 3:53 p.m. on Friday, November 30th, 2012 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born December 8, 1928 in Franklin, Margaret was the daughter of the late Elmore and Mary Kaigler Harris. She was self employed as a housekeeper. Margaret enjoyed playing the piano. She is survived by her brothers, Richard M. Harris and his wife, Geraldine, of Franklin, and Elmore Cootie Harris, Jr. and his fiance, Jeanie, of Meadville; and her sisters, Mattie Pearl Harris and Bernadine Holmes, both of Newark, New Jersey. Margaret is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews living in the Franklin area and Newark, New Jersey. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her 4 brothers, Robert Harris, Hezekiah Harris, Joseph Harris, and James Harris; and her 5 sisters, Clara Henderson, Lucille Tucker, Dr. Marian Tanner, Callie Collins, and Rosemary Moses. Family and friends of Margaret will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., on Thursday, December 6 from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. following visitation, with Rev. Lora Adams-King, of Erie Street Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
