Margaret Charlotte (Marjorie) Mailliard Sipos, 99, of Meadville, went to her eternal home on December 23, 2023. She was born in Meadville on October 31, 1924 to Albert and Margaret McHenry Mailliard. She married Frank Sipos June 16, 1944 at Fort Custer, MI. He preceded her in death March 26, 2000. Marjorie graduated with honors from Randolph High School, Guys Mills in 1942. She worked for Kent and Kent Lawyers, then for Kroger's Grocery. She spent 34 years working for and retiring from Talon Inc. in Meadville. Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her infectious laugh and sense of humor. She liked working on crossword puzzles, bowling, and socializing with her friends and family. Her family treasured her pies and feasts she prepared for them. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends scattered across the country. She valued her Catholic faith which was the core of her life and was a Lifelong Member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish (formerly St. Agatha Catholic Church). Marjorie is survived by 10 children: Kathleen Slagal of Carlsbad, CA, David (Cathy) Sipos of Anchorage, AK, Dennis (Pamela) Sipos of Seattle, WA, Renee Ellsworth of Catawba, SC, Charlene Abayon of Santa Rosa, CA, Paul (Robin) Sipos of Blooming Valley, PA, Janice (Ed) Archuleta of Mancos, CO, Noreen (Mark) Richards of Escondido, CA, Tina (Jim) Geissinger of Santa Rosa, CA, and Christi Sipos of Meadville, PA., 22 grandchildren, Craig (Lisa) Slagal, Danielle Slagal, Nikole Slagal, Joey Sipos, Ben (Collette) Sipos, Maria Sipos, Erin (Rolando Diaz) North, Dana North, Malia Abayon, Trina (Ian) Parelius, Sarah (Hebert) Moran, Jesse Sipos, Jacob (Regina) Sipos, Jamie (Steven) Rhodes, Jeremy (Lisa) Sipos, Jordan (Jodi) Sipos, Joseph Achuleta, Mimi Archuleta, Christian Richards, Gemma Richards, Maggie Geissinger, Johnny Geissinger, 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank, Sister, Dorothy Mesley, and brothers, Eugene and Paul Mailliard killed in action in 1944 during WWII, Lawrence, Robert, Kenneth, and Richard Mailliard. Visitation will be at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street Meadville, Friday, January 5th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6th at 11:00am with the Rev. Fr. Jeffery Lucas officiating at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish (St. Agatha Church), 353 Pine Street, Meadville.     who graduated with my daughter. I loved to see Marge around town. Yes, one of the sweetest persons I ever knew.
