Mable Lenore Porter, 91, of Ramona, California, passed away, Monday, September 17, 2018 at Pomerado Hospital in Poway, California, surrounded by her family. She was born September 2, 1927 in Masury, OH, daughter of the late Harry M. and Greta M. Locke. Mable was married to George Harry Porter for 66 years. He preceded her in passing on May 4, 2015. Mable enjoyed spending time with family, friends, loved traveling the world on ocean cruises, visiting Hawaii and dancing
Mable was a mother, wife, and business woman. She owned Buggy Whip, Inc., a safety products company, with her husband George.
Mable is survived by 5 children, Alan (Vicki), Terry (Jan), Radena, Russell (Laura) and Jeffery (Elizabeth), 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, her sisters Betty, Hilda and brother Malcolm (Sonny).
In addition to her husband and parents, Mable was preceded in passing by her two brothers, Edson and Melvin; her sister, Agnes.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 8 at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home, 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16355 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The memorial service will follow calling hours at 11:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Township.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Porter family in the loss of your Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Mother-in-Law. It was a pleasure knowing Mable these many years. I have always had the utmost respect for her love of her family, her stamina and her incredible work ethic. She will be deeply missed. My heart and prayers go out to you all.
